I hate that theme music! Why couldn't they just leave it alone? I know, they claim that they don't have the rights to have the original music, but I don't know if that's true!

Yes, it is a shame, the original theme tune was great, I had the urge to dub the original theme on top, but then I may have been sued :-(

The name of that episode is "The Hillbillies of Beverly Hills", AKA:" The Clampetts Strike Oil". (It is my all-time favorite episode)!

you are correct hydroy1...they do not write the way they did in the classic shows...I Love Lucy, Bewitched, the Radio show My favorite husband and Mr and Mrs North and I am hooked on all of those.

I got a set of 50 episodes on 5 dvd's as a gift once.....I assumed this crappy music was because they were pirated episodes somehow.... it was a mix of the first 3 or 4 seasons....not complete

The writers of this show were the best money could buy, Get aload of theres lines " Hot buttered Indian " and first hog to the toff----- lol oh good god --- You GOT to be DEAD not to love it ! Nothing like the Beveryhillbillys ever. Todays TV flat out SUCKS ! There just NOTHIN on it , a complete waiste of time to turn on the TV. Thats ok, I will just watch YOUTUBE Some folks think I am crazy to watch my computer all thet time, but guess what --- I don't care about there opinions
