The Euphonix Artist Series MC Transport from Avid is a great, affordable way to use Euphonix control surfaces. It runs the same version software as the Euphonix MC Mix and the Euphonix MC Control. The MC Transport is fully customizable and gives you a complete graphical representation of every button on the Transport. The Transport has a jog and shuttle ring, numerical keypad, and soft keys to give you up to 44 customizable buttons for any application. The Euphonix MC Transport not only works wonderfully in Pro Tools, but also in any video editing program such as Final Cut, and any other DAW. Get your MC Transport today at Sound Pure! Call us or email us with any questions you may have.

  • that makes sense, and i love the fact that Avid has increased the resolution of the faders in the series. though, as an entry into the family, the transport will blow away mouse automation.

  • @quantumpsych Very true!

  • @soundpurestudios hey guys, fantastic videos, would like to know if you have tried automating fader moves with the transport? the manual says it's possible but how well does it function in this capacity?

  • @quantumpsych Apparently, you can "write" a fader movement using the "big knob" on the transport, but since it would just be a single channel at a time, it really doesn't make a tremendous amount of sense... that's really what the Mix/Control fader packs were designed for. Does that make sense?

yeah you have quite a card rack!!! I'm light-years from there.

  • @MatrixSaturation Sounds great! And, congrats on the new gig! We certainly carry the RME Fireface UFX as well! Looking forward to helping you on this next upgrade!

  • @soundpurestudios

    Thanks,

I will. And by an amazing coincidence I got the perfect job to buy 2 new pieces shortly. ;)

I'm thinking those will go very well (and look very good) with the new Fireface UFX card...
