China Drum - Another Toy

A Tyneside (UK) band based at Ryton recording studios, where this track was recorded live. We then recorded the band in Newcastle at a gig with hand-held camcorders and synced the two performances together. Shortly after this, the stage banner you can see in this video was stolen, so the band took the opportunity to changed their name to simply 'The Drum', which was what their fans called them anyway. They were frequently the support band for Green Day, in the early years. Spot the Green Day t-shirts in the crowd shots! Video produced and directed by Ron Branscombe.
