I am in tokyo right now and the weather has become more mild. It has been about 60f (20c) with a little rain.
When you come there is a service called takkyubin which will ship your luggage next day to your hotel. It costs about 1,800 Yen (18.00) per bag, but is a lot easier than dragging your bags on the trains.
