The US Department of Agriculture says that food prices are at record high and expected to grow by more than three percent this year.
Experts say the price of gasoline has lead to higher prices in the stores.
This could add about $20 to the average grocery bill.
Carolina's Brian Dresdow take a look at how higher prices already have some grocery shoppers cutting back.

  • When bread is like 2.50$ to 5.00$ per loaf when it should be 50 cents it makes you wonder

  • People are getting angry+they are starting to kill the elite,they take food from a childs mouth they die,that is the way normal folk are thinking.

  • The government think we eat too much,l only have one meal a day but the government seem to think l eat too much do they,it's just them justifying to themselves stealing so much out of our wages+putting prices up on everything+little increase in min wage. .
