Its the kind of melody that sticks to your head and the next thing you know your humming their little dittie in your head......NOT! These guys appear to be the best musicians on the planet but I can't seem to find much I like about this song, nor much I can remember, hence the melody joke, cause there wasn't one really. They are an amazing talent but I'll take my musical virtuosity in the form of bands like NRBQ, probably the polar opposite of The Mars Volta.

i personally hummed the melody cedric sang all day...you can't possibly say there is no melody right? maybe it's not as linear as in most songs nowadays, but it's definitely there.

Um...nope they are right, Frances the Mute was their best album. Not only is it our personal opinion that it's the best, but it's also the highest critically reviewed album of theirs.
