Clinical Thai Bodywork is a Thai massage-derived modality developed by Chuck Duff that blends myofascial trigger point therapy and other western and Asian approaches to pain relief with the traditional framework of Thai massage. It is a highly effective approach to treating pain that also benefits the practitioner, and often achieves positive results even with very chronic and difficult pain conditions, including shoulder pain, migraine, knee pain, back pain and many other conditions.

Chuck Duff Founded Thai Bodywork, Inc. in 2001. Thai Bodywork provides an NCBTMB-Approved Thai massage certification program in Chicago and other cities. The Thai Bodywork DVD series covers all aspects of traditional Thai massage, from beginner to expert. The series catalog is available at http://www.thaimassageschool.net along with a complete list of courses taught at our studio in Evanston, IL.

  • Great video, do you have any techniques that could be used on the table?

  • @Rosibel79 - thank you very much. these techniques are generally easily adapted to table. sometimes therapists who work on pro athletes etc. have to work on the table, I sometimes do private training for this purpose.

  • Sorry bro dog stole the show

  • @tyciol - I know, I'm used to it.

  • Thanks very much for watching -- we're filming a series of CTB clips focusing on common pain areas, so stay posted and appreciate your interest!
