@glvedio LOL - I wear the yellow gloves (and goggles) when I'm mixing the lye solution. The ones I use when putting the oils and lye water together are from a box a friend gave me of food handler gloves. They work fine and the price was right... FREE!

Great video, do you really need a preservative? I have never added one to my milk soaps. Np problems yet.

@valbakke Because I sell my soap, I choose to put a preservative in it to be on the safe side. Anything that is organic in nature, such as fresh herbs, fruits, or dairy can grow bacteria. Some add a preservative and some don't. I choose to error on the side of caution. It is more of a personal preference.
