This question is for anyone who might know the answer. I live over a crystal meth lab. Lately they've been using what smells like strong acetone (they dump it into the plumbing & I get the fumes). I've been able to neutralize the lye they use with oxalic acid, neutralize the acids with baking soda or washing soda but I can't figure out how to get rid of the acetone. Any help would be appreciated (yes, I've contacted NYPD, the landlord, health dept., buildings dept. but no does anything ).

You are sharing your knowledge, which is a real gift to the community. You strike me as very serious about teaching which puts me in the frame of mind that this is worth learning. Also you seem like a "real" person because what you have to offer is "real" - alot of substantial information is delivered. THANK YOU.

@mmedefarge I would contact your local EPA (environmental Protection agency) office in either your state or region.
