Flyleaf is an American alternative metal band, formed in the Belton and Temple, Texas in 2000. The band has charted on mainstream rock, Christian pop and Christian metal genres. They performed around the United States in 2003 until releasing their eponymous debut album, Flyleaf, in 2005. The album went platinum after selling more than one million copies. The band won an online poll on yahoo.com and was named Yahoo!'s Who's Next band of the month in March 2006 and they were named MTV's artist of the week on December 24, 2007. Flyleaf released their second album Memento Mori on November 10, 2009 which debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard charts.

There are many excuses people make for murdering, be it in the name of religion, or for the 'greater good' of the masses in atheistic regimes such as Mao and Stalin. Anyone could go out and kill someone and say it was in the name of love, but that wouldn't make it true. The thing about religion is it's all about rules and ritual. Jesus is not about ritual, he is all about relationship. That's the difference.

I am not a Christian, I am agnostic. But I did at one point go to church during some hard times a couple years ago. A live band of teenagers did this song at an Easter service, and I loved it immediately. And I love Flyleaf, so that's awesome. I absolutely love this song.

@xlilxmamax1andonly what are you talking about? they post on facebook and twitter and stuff all the time that they are recording new songs, their website is even about them in the studio. I believe they have atleast about 8 or 9 new songs recorded for the next record.

@RMJK2095 stay strong. your in my prayers. I know how that is. Without flyleaf I would've never made it through moving to Texas away fro everything and everyone I knew. Within the span of two weeks I gained a dad and moved to a new state. Music literally saved me from suicide. If you need someone to talk to I'm here. Stay strong in your faith. He loves you alot!
