Arrthur Young was a great piano player. He made some very interesting solos and also a number of records with 'his youngsters'. Well worth looking out for. The jazz scene in the States was almost dead in that period, but here in Europe was very much alive. As a result many Americans came over to Europe, also because of our more relaxed attitude to coloured people. Racially mixed bands were a rule over here, not an exception.
