@ChicagoSouthDan Well later she says "Nashville town" instead of "whole damn town." I'm assuming she took out "damn" to be family friendly, and then said "city" bc it wouldn't have made sense to say Nashville and Chicago.

I wonder why she changed it from "the South Side of Chicago" to "the South Side of the city"? Did she want to make it more universal by not naming the city? Was she worried about offending people from the South Side of Chicago? I'm from the South Side and I'm not offended by the song.

Also, I like Dolly but I think she sang it a little too fast.
