@PolandMoonRise Yes Jefferson may have became a state, but Hawaii and Alaska may not have become one. They were admitted as states in 1959, 18 years after Pearl Harbor. So the Japanese may have taken over the terretory at that time. Alaska possibly the same fate

Build a What If? machine so we can see the consequences of removing people from their original timeline's.

@PolandMoonRise and if you remove the event in which (or the people involved in the event) mexico lost part of its territory to the US then Jefferson would've never been thought of because you wouldn't have had those states.
-
You could also assume that without the American revolution, democracy might never be where it is today.

Oh my God. I just realized that my trip to Venice and John's trip to Venice nearly coincided.

I like the places you take my thoughts in this video and I'd like more videos to be like this one. Maybe something we can see on Crash Course? An extra credit assignment. ;)

:D I was in Venice a few days after he was :D

@itsawayoflife142 Yes. Oliver Cromwell needs to go to the evil baby orphanage.
And ditto to the second part too. The first marriage wasn't quite as bad, but the last two were just disaster.

never regret, if it's good it's wonderful, if it's bad it's experience.

you realise, John that if you you remove baby Adolph Hitler you would indirectly cause the creation of the 51st state... This state would be called Jefferson and would take up parts of northern California and southern Oregon. The fact is that the day that Jefferson had declared itself a state was the same day that Pearl Harbor was bombed... Everyone was so distracted with Hawaii that no one ran a story about Jefferson becoming a state. Thusly Jefferson remains a state of mind and never real.
