I have a trailer with 8 year old decals. Ill let you try it on there. If it works you have yourself a selling video and I have a clean trailer.

@KoconutZ15 You use turpentine and your paint will come off too, same with lacquer thinner or acetone. If you use gasoline it will dry the body of the paint over time. You can use kerosene, mineral spirits, naptha or lighter fluid (which is mostly naptha mixed with benzine to make it flash easier) as they are oily based solvents. Goo Gone is a little rough on paint especially on the clear coat.

My main concern is to not damage my customers car. Speed is secondary.

Do you have advice on removing old lettering decal glue on a canvas awning ? I'm worried the solvent might hurt the awning .
