Dance of the Yao people (瑶族舞曲) on pipa and guitar by Liu Fang & Michael 琵琶 & 吉他

"Yao Dance" or Dance of the Yao People (瑶族舞曲) is one of the best known and most popular Chinese instrumental music collaboratively composed by Liu Tieshan (刘铁山) and Mao Yuan (茅沅) for orchestra, and later on transcribed by Peng Xiuwen for Chinese national orchestra. The current version is an adaptation for duo pipa and guitar.

This video was recorded live at the concert of duo pipa and guitar by Liu Fang and Michael O'Toole in Bray, during the tour in Ireland in 2008 for the release of their new CD "Changes" in Autumn 2008.
