Graydon Parrish speaks about his painting "The Cycle of Terror and Tragedy: September 11, 2001" at the New Britain Museum of American Art on September 11, 2009
Don't care for this painting. It comes across very Cliche'. Twins..please. I also don't think 19th C. allegory portrays the events of 9-11 with honesty. Flowers, beautiful maidens, etc..blah. Innocent children delivering the planes? (terrorists are innocent children??? The twins are portrayed as Islamic race?? Are they victims, blindfolded? He is an amazing artist... maybe the most technically gifted and talented, alive today...
