Audio-wise, it's a good piece, not a great piece.
Visul-wise, it's a complete failure...
As this is THE classical Chinese drumming song, the performer did not bring out the grandeur of the military's bellicosity.
The video was switching too fast from beat to beat, rander the visul shattered from piece to piece. Again, failed to bring out all performers as a unified group, thus the grandeur of this classical piece.
Nice try, but...

This supposedly is based on the military drum beats the First Emperor of China summoned his feared Qin infantry, archers and armored calvary to the grand parade before and after a major battle. His forces enable him circa 221 BC to conquer and unify China for the first time under one single unified administration, and forging the"Chinese Union" identity. EU idea came some 2000 years later.

Cool, because my percussions section just played this piece in a concert not too long ago. I think this is generally quite well done! You guys sounded rather steady, and all of you were very synchronized, and that's good! But the 铜器s in the 锣鼓段 were a little messy, and I personally feel that some of your movements should be more exaggerated. Anyway, this is still a job well done. Nice performance :)
