  • Ieyui nobomenu renmiri yojuyogo hasatekanae kutamae

Pray, saviour; dream, child of prayer; forever and ever, bring us peace

At my funeral, not only will there be a keg to celebrate my life and the joy that it was, but this song to celebrate what it means to live and the sorrow it can be. Let our saviours pray for our peace, and let us also pray for our saviours; for without one, the other is nothing.

  • its in times like this that i wish i was japonese...

  • this voices are really amazing. never heard such powerful and emotional music!

  • I think what makes it more emotional, is the memories it brings back from playing the game for so long and getting so invested in the storyline and characters, and how it had an effect on my life. (I don't think that sound silly at all, video games CAN be art, and beautiful, shame companies keep cranking out pieces of shit with only the graphics in mind, now days) I've only ever had that feeling twice before though, with Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 4.

  • @teddythebenny and? the japanese language has been inspired quite a lot from the chinese, so why let it sound as if that matter of fact is a tragic one? it's just a word ^^ but saying the japanese language hasn't got a word for "love", just because that word's originally from another country, doesn't mean it's not japanese ;]

i know you didn't mean it that way, but reading your comment makes one think so.

the word "love" means "ai" in japanese - that's all there is to it.

  • @spavrillavigne yes, we do have a word, except, the sound, the character.. is entirely chinese.. that is a fact, of reality i suppose.

  • @teddythebenny The Japanese do have a word for love. It's called "ai" 愛

I think when translated they thought "I love you" sounded better - or was more befitting, than "thank you"

  • im speechless

  • wow
