  • you are all pathetic for arguing, lets face it, the N900 is the best phone out there, and it's got plenty of useful apps already. Unlike the iphone, that got 90% useless apps and 10% useful apps. Now im done with you guys, dont want to lower myself anymore then this.

  • Lack of apps at launch?? You know this isn't launched yet.. and there's cool stuff already out there for the N900.. You have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @N97Tjoohej yea but now im getting the htc desire hd .i have the n900 though its awesome

  • Still doesn't beat pinch to zoom though...

  • @N97Tjoohej thankyou,someone who knows

  • With the N900 browser you have direct access to facebook site, like from your PC at home. You don't need the facebook app, the youtube app, the bbc app, etc...

Full internet browser with full Flash support!

  • There is a reason this is delayed another month after being delayed another month. lol. Development is the reason, super nes wont cut it.

  • Lack of apps?

27 is allowed, many 100 is in extra testing, even more in beta.

vlc is finnished, open office, quake 3, and so on.

(ad block + for mozilla is in extra testing, one of the best programs for the mozilla browser, torrent programs in testing..... )

  • maemo,nokia,com/maemo-select/applications/facebook-for-nokia/ is what I mean. (Replace commas with full stops)

It shows status updates, inbox etc, and clicking on it opens a more complete app ahowing photos and more. At least we agree on the N97, although I loved the form factor. Processor, RAM and scratched lens were the final straw, coupled with the OS. I don't need a flashy UI, just functional, which is another reason Maemo suits me.

  • Oh, you mean the facebook applet that allows you to add chat service and sharing to the core os. I am talking about a full blown app that includes inbox, photos, feed, etc. Nokia has a good thing going, but they shouldn't be holding this thing off because it isnt a consumer-centric handset and it wont obviously be all things to all people. Of course I want it, I may keep it longer than the 5 days I had the n97 pile of shit.
