Lovely. I'm wondering who the choir is? Anyone know?

This is such a beautiful, uplifting video of great Christian hymn. Great choir, great hymn. I come here, from time to time, when I need a spiritual boost! Wonderful!

This is the most beautiful Christian song I've ever heard, and brings tears to my eyes whenever I hear it. Its parallel is the carol: "O Sing A Song Of Bethlehem" - same melody and arrangement, done by Bob Fitts at Hosanna Music on the CD Bethlehem's Treasure, released in '92. Not having the music, we picked it apart into 4 parts and sang it as a 4 person presentation at church for Christmas years ago. It would be a dream come true to do it in a true traditional caroling setting!

Great song!! :)

Folk tunes have a way of doing that, it's hard to say who "wrote" it first since no one usually "writes" folk tunes.

Don't feel guilty. He loves you and will welcome you back as a saviour and friend. Just talk to him about the ordinary everyday things of your life. God bless you.

The Irish can't lay exclusive claim to this tune (Star of the County Down). It is known throughout the British Isles.
Ralph Vaughn Williams arranged this tune for the English Hymnal, where it was called Kingsfold.
