Ada and Rachel 1979--You Tell Mac What Your Plans Are

Ada and Rachel are talking in Ada's kitchen. Ada points out that when Jamie was little, Rachel complained all the time then that Jamie's father wasn't with him, and now Rachel is taking Amanda away from her father. Rachel says she is not taking Amanda away from Mac, it's just for a couple of weeks, and prepares to leave. Ada tells Rachel to sit down because they're not through yet. Rachel says she has a lot of things to take care of. Ada tells her to start with the most important one: either Rachel tells Mac what her plans are, or Ada will. Rachel says Ada can't tell Mac what Rachel's plans are because Ada doesn't know what they are. Thanks to Eddie for the scenes.

@hrtoflove So true -- today's shows have completely lost this simple but effective technique to tell a story. Everyone in today's shows are in a club chatting on a cell phone or looking at some dumb ass laptop. The "family" feeling has been complelety ripped out of today's shows -- everything has to look and feel sexy and hot! And the ratings today prove it was a total fuck up move to make!

Seeing Ada in the kitchen was truly realistic. It was the way mothers spent their time doing the cooking, chatting with guests or whomever dropped by to visit for coffee.....it was simply awesome!!!!
