My usb dongle isn't getting recognized by my laptop. I have Win7 64 bit OS. Usb becomes too hot and mouse is currently of no use. Do you any suggestions for this. Rest the mouse is excellent only problem i am facing is its dongle.

Had one and it was awesome worked great...untill I raged a little too hard playing sc2...yyyeeaahhh and now tomorrow I'm going to buy a new one. 5/5 great! . I guess the scroller is pretty crappy tho. But thays my only issue! Oh and id had it for just under a year and it only broke because I threw it at my wall so its very reliable. I use it a ton, like an average of at least 2 hr a day up to likd 8 hrs a day and I have to change the battery about once a month...there I think thays everything.

is the mouse wheel smooth or clicky?

if I get this can I use this with the mobile 3500 dongle or must this be used with 6000's dongle?

how do the edges of the dongle feel? i got someone a cheap mouse from china and the dongle was cut so straight and angular that the edges were rough and sharp. you wouldnt wanna run the back of your hand against it real quick. i got someone else a logitech with a unifying reciever and the edges were nice and smooth. so hows THIS dongle?

I have a different view of this mouse.

I am not happy at all with it, and am now looking to replace it. Mine suffers from poor battery, though others seem not too, I have to change every 1-2 months. It gets dirty obviously. But worst of all is the quality. The scrolling wheel is horrible and falls apart in time. It's made of rubber. It also is useless in many programs. And I am a careful user, who turns it off and all while not in use.

So find something else to buy.

I got the same acer laptop and the same mouse. I have the same problem but it just wont fit into my left usb plug it only fits in the two right ones.I got mine at Walmart for

If the receiver is getting stuck inside the laptop I think that's kinda an issue... Actually a very big issue.
