You may knows that some of Malays came from Taiwan, Cambodia or Vietnam, which close to Mainland China, so isn't impossible if the Chinese also had brought Islam into Malay Peninsula, right? As we learned from the history, Islam were brought to Peninsula Malaysia either from India, China and/or Arab Peninsula itself. We all knows who is Admiral Zheng He or Laksamana Cheng Ho.
