Everquest 2 70 Wizard Vs LVL 100 Heroic Guard

My lvl 70 wizard takes down a heroic encounter 30 levels higher than himself in seconds.
People have been asking about spells for this in comments and mails. The spell order is...

1. Ring of frost (pure luck if it sticks I had this at master1). Run it off and come back if you get a resist.

2. Wrath of the burning prince Sol Ro miracle

3. Heat stroke line (cant remember the name offhand. The reason I use this is because it is unresistable no matter what level and it procs the wrath miracle for a guaranteed big hit.

4. Freehand sorcery to add extra damage to the next hit

5. Manaburn, although you cant critically cast this it is affected by freehand sorcery.

Hope this helps. They changed manaburn from 5 points of damage per mana point down to 4 so I don't know if you could still solo one of these at 70 anymore.

@leucol travel to Mara, follow the path and theres one there, go to the town and theres about 5 more. Sounds like you will get disco XP ;)

dang u must be able to put it togeather u can try it with a lev 80 wiz with all masters it IS a hack or somthing and if you belive that thing you obviously havent played eq2 i have lots of expirience as a wizzard on eq2 yeah there awsome but not that awsome !!!

Lie Dude u cant take something that high lev the spell would deflect its a crappy hack or somthing cos u could not take dow a lev 80 3 up with them spells!

before you get all crazy and say stupid shit, learn your spells. mana burn, the main spell he used there is not resistable. period. it does 5 points of damage per 1 mana used, up to 50% of targets life. does direct focus damage. so stfu stupid mofos

@argottobob if the "..but here we are 6-7 years later..." part isnt enough reason they have over 7 servers to choose from. I have played on about four of them and not only are they populated but the community is very cool. do urself a favor and join up! see ya in Norath.

Hoping for an honest answer here, since I am seeing quite a few people who enjoy this game.

Will this game last much longer, or is it dying out? Been thinking of trying it for some time, but just never gotten around to it, but here we are about 6-7 years later; I have doubts about picking it up and wasting my time on a game that wont be around much longer. Anyone able to convince me otherwise? Thanks.

i would put a lvl 90 wizard wait scratch that since wow is only 85 so any 85 well geared wizard against any scrub from world of windowlickers against a mage. ill put money down the wizard would whoop the mages ass! WoW graphics are cartoony here in eq not alot of computers can play it on extreme quality if you see it its GORGEOUS high in detail! I played eq2 for 15 mins and i dropped wow like a bad habit i may be on extended and im a noob to it but its HELLA fun wish i played it instead of wow.

He's a Wizard, Wizard's are strong as hell. Their defense is not good, but who really cares when you can mez and blast the enemies, taking them down before you even get hit.

I could take on monsters 5 levels above my Conjuror. Sure, my pet helped, but still. He probably has all Master skills, so the guard wouldn't have been able to resist.

Looks like he mez'd, zapped, repeat. That's easy to do, and it's easy to take them down like that.
