Cut Swept actually can used for many application, like draw to bolt,nut, helical gear. You just need two step, create sketch the cut profile and make helical path, so you can applicate for many models from these ordered

These steps are 1.Etx boss 2.Sketch>circle>35.06 of diameter>25 of depth 3.Extrude Boss>sketch>circle>24 of diameter>10 of depth 4.Sketch profile 5.Helix>Heigh=25 & Revolution=0.06>reverse direction>start angle of 90degree 6.Cut Swept>select "Sketch profile" & "helix path" 7.Cut extrude>circle>12 of diameter>direction at through all 8.Axis -> at concentric 9.Circular pattern>number of instance 15->feature to pattern "cut swept1" ->pattern axis. 4detailGiveMe your email

  • Sorry, but this is not a TRUE INVOLUTE tooth profile. My uploads have the formulas and a CAD demo for EXTERNAL and INTERNAL gear teeth. Includes backlash and pressure angle procedures. BTW, you can make the videos bigger by changing the screen % value in lower right corner. I did a custom 225% to help make the icons easier to see.
