I also had an acer,,7720 from new,,inverter failed after about a year,,then the back light,,this laptop hardly ever left my bedroom,,had little use,,would not buy again,,,,,

Acer fails. Had an acer, broke down within a few months. And everyone i know that has had an acer said they fail.

I just got one of these shipped and am typing on it right now.....have been playing with it for about 3 hours now....I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! the Bluray..the 3 gigs of RAM....love it..love it...and for 840 after taxes and delivered.....it's the macbook/pro KILLA....Steve Jobs is probably droolin over this baby!!!lol
