At Sanderling Waldorf School in Encinitas, CA, the children are taught a more natural way of looking at the world. The School practices a zero-waste philosophy from gardening to composting, that teaches a reverence for Mother Earth. The Sanderling School continually participates in watershed clean-ups at the San Dieguito Lagoon. The clean-ups don't just end at the watershed as they inspire us all, as teachers, to make a change.
