Stoney Curtis Band-Colors

This is off acid blues experience. i have all their albums(all three official releases) and all are badass some of the best guitar playing today. so much charisma too and such a badass singer i just can't believe they arent huge and that's why i believe blues or good rock will never be popular again sadly. however that isnt going to stop me from spreading the word and posting more buy their albums they slay.

the live or studio? the studio is on their myspace i believe. i actually saw stoney live a few months back and he played that song. i was one of about ten people there. i requested he play colors and he was so blown away that i knew the song. dude and his band played for honestly five hours and i paid a five dollar cover. i'd say see him if you get the chance it is well worth the money

@CharlieHodgescarf Hehehe, never been called a Dinosaur before, feels a bit weird being 26 years old... I'm not being 'mean spirited' i was just speaking the truth, it's unfair to say to these guys that they're awesome when they're average at best- it's like telling Steven Hawking he's going to be the best sprinter in the world. Apologies if this offends you- but they wont reach success if they keep writing songs like this. It's good that you like it though, second rate bands need love as well.

Times and tastes have changed.. There are some amazing newer blues and blues rock bands like this one out there.. But there are people out there like you that put down talented bands that are keeping this kind of music alive. It's dinosaurs like you that need to go die..

Great song, great band, great guitar playing... This one is off the 1st studio record.. He has 2 others, and they just keep getting better.. The new Cosmic Connection is GREAT BLUES ROCK!..

Good voice, but the song is pretty average and the guitar playing is bloody aweful, there's no new bluesy bands out there that have the talent/songs of Zeppelin/Deep purple etc. There's Black country communion (there's some talent!)- but there all the old guys anyway, and even then the songs aren't amazing. There's a reason bands get as big as those boys and it's because they were good, not because people stopped liking it! If the equivalent of Zeppelin came out nowadays they'd ruin everyone.

too add... I think it is also that for many, to hear great blues they don't have to go further than supergroups like led zeppelin and the experience of Jimi and only the real music lovers have any reason to find a new bad ass blues band...

I agree with the poster of this song... I got introduced to Stoney Curtis while I was in Switzerland and I was floored that this guy was from my home and that I had to goto Switzerland to see him on TV. Apperantly people in the U.S. are weening away from good blues... too bad.
