couldn't everything but you never seem to know what this guy will play next. We are blessed to have such a virtuoso alive in our lifetime! Much like Coltrane and Sonny Rollins, the more people that hate it, the bolder the statement is and plenty of people love the truth in it.

James Carter is a saxophonist's saxophonist and a musician's musician. He a once in a lifetime musician. I love Kenny Garrett he is one of the best alto players of his or any other generation. However, James Carter is in a league of his own.
