I own nothing.
I love this scene ...

Movie: Mary and Max
Song: Pink Martini - Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)
Lyrics:

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother what will I be
Will I be pretty
Will I be rich
Here's what she said to me

Que sera sera
Whatever will be will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera sera

When I was just a child in school
I asked my teacher what should I try
Should I paint pictures
Should I sing songs
This was her wise reply

Que sera sera
Whatever will be will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera sera

When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart what lies ahead
Will there be rainbows day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said

Que sera sera
Whatever will be will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera sera

What will be, will be
Que sera sera...

  • this scene for some reason reminds me of kingdom hearts...the whole pictures surronding her and stuff not the trying to kill herself...the pictures would be memories and sora or roxas or something would be in the middle and it would be pictures of axel and xion and kairi etc

  • they coulden't have picked a better song for this scean, it just makes it soo perfect.

  • I watched this movie last night and I really started to tear up when I saw this scean, and then I was so releaved and happy when she didn't do it....... and then I lost it and started bawling when max died

  • The moment you realize that little innocent girl grew up and now wants to kill herself is just heartbreaking

  • omg this was the first movie to make me cry

  • When I first watched it, I was so distraught at the thought she might actually die, because the film is so brutally honest that it made it a real possibility and threat, and I even thought she had already died at the end just before she answered the door. And then the way they resolved it with him overcoming his (entirely rational, surprisingly) agorophobia, it was so uplifting.

  • This scene really needs to be in a list of greatest film scenes of all time. It's extremely affecting.

  • who else went like MARY DON'T DO IT

  • what was it rated

    i forgot
