Hey dude, can you tell me how the pearl cymbals are??

I'm thinking of getting this kit and if i should get new cymbals or not.

well the pearl cymbals theyre just stock or factory cymbals so if i were you id get beter ones and i'd prefer zildian or sabian...i got a second drum kit now its a limetid editon pearl and theres only 50 of those in the world its a red face and all stands and screws and the meatal stuff thats usually silver is all black...i got a gold fadecustom cymbals on those and theyre zildian...

... und ja, ich muss den anderen hier teilweise recht geben, es ist etwas dunkel, wirklich beurteilen kann man's nicht, aber Dich mal spielen hören würde mich auch mehr interessieren, also lass mal bald was hören!

danke das du mir zuerrueck geschrieben hast ich wollte gerade ein video machen wo ich spiele abar mittin drin ist die battereie meiner kamera leergegangen...aber in den nachshetn paar tagen werde ich sicherlich ein video uploaden ich habe jetzt schon seit einem jahr mit einer double kick pedale gespielt und ich hatte seit 4 jahren keinen unntericht mehr ich spile aber in der schul band in der school jazz band in der winkler jazz band und in 2 anderen bands ich bin also auch sehr beschaftigt!!!!

The pearl cymbal that came with mine (18 Crash ride) is a terrible crash but an average ride. The hi hats are pretty decent too. You will want to replace the drum heads especially the snare because it will start loosing white paint everywhere. All in all Awesome set.

Guys, I am impressed with this kit. I played it for 5 years, and Im moving on, but trust me , if you can learn to tune a drum, this kit is a great beginner kit. I just got a yamaha stage custom, so I am no longer going to be using my pearls but I just put the yamaha heads(which arent good) on the pearl drums and tuned them and the forum series sound great. The biggest problem is that it is a beginner kit, so the mounting system takes away the great resonance I can get out of the drums.

@Enjoiskateboarding01 i have this kit it is very nice i still have the pearl cymbals 2 years now but i did upgrade some i got the sabian b8 16in crash i got a 20in zildjian ride, a destroyed 18in ziljian titanium cras, a 8 in sabian splash with a cheap 12in china and the hihats are the 14in pearl and a 18in pearl crash/ride

@YoungDrummer16 if you want to tune your toms to sound the best ever you have to get the natural sound of the shell then lower the bater head by an octave and a perfect 4th of the note of the shell then you lower the resonant head by a 5th below that. It is a pain taking all the hardware off to hear it but once you do just remember what the note was for future tunnin. hope this helped.

Dude, Trust Me The Forum Series Blows. Unless you get new heads and cymbals, then id be good but with stock heads they BLOW!

cymbals are a nasty shit and the drums heads too...put ebony remo heads and the kit sounds fantastic, for the mix of the forum wood and the heavy head of ebony model
