Instead of playing Come, Come Ye Saints every hour like normal, the carillon played this every hour all day.

  • @DownWithThe4eleven you poor misdeluded child. you must have been beaten when you were young.....

  • @Parkerdonat proved by BYU Divine Comedy...looking up "Firebolt"

  • The truth stands: people are different and like different things. Accept the fact and move on with your lives.

  • @DownWithThe4eleven Excuse me, but have you ever even read the Bible? Dark. Check. Violent. Check. Macabre. Check. Hell, there's even some incest/rape/sexual harrasment going on at some point.

  • Awesome!!

  • @DownWithThe4eleven so, let me guess, you've only seen the movies, right? I've always been told that it's "better to be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt" but this goes far beyond just being foolish.

  • @DownWithThe4eleven Dark, violent, carnal, godless, macabre? Have you read the books? Sure, I'll admit it's not the Bible, but seriously?

  • Attempting to justify something as dark and violent as the Harry Potter books or movies is bad enough, but trying to gloss over all that evil by saying they are helpful parables, teaching us about good and evil, is just pathetic. If you like this stuff, that's your call, but the fact remains that it is the carnal mind enjoying these. If you're going to rebel against truth, at least own up to it. BYU should be ashamed, as should anyone denying that these are godless and macabre stories.

  • Christ taught in parables, there's no reason he wouldn't want His children to learn the themes that the Harry Potter movies teach--to remember that love and friendship are stronger than evil; that sometimes we must choose between what is easy and what is right. I think this is freakin' awesome.

  • @Wurbyfu hope you're being sincere.
