Your all coverting one of the easiest to gasify materials "Wood" It doesn't even pose a danger to landfills and is not a material considered harmful to the environment.
You people have proven the technology works every way from sunday. When is someone going to take it up a few levels and process MSW, Hazardous Waste, Medical Waste, Liquid toxic Waste, Rubber Tires, Styrafoam, Plastics etc. etc. which all can easily be converted using this technology in a self-sustaining continuous flow configuration nobody seems to be able to figure out yet. Batch fed is as close as you have come. This will not work on a commercial scale as it is too slow and labor intensive.
You probably already know this, but the gas is made up of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Even my daredevil friend wouldn't have the audacity to do this distillation indoors! I couldn't help but wonder, where is the fumehood? Why are you using an open flame right next to an explosive mix of flammable gases and poisonous alcohol fumes etc...
I'm not hatin'.
Destructive distillation is awesome but you should have taken some elementary precautions, at least a fume hood and some gloves...
hey dude..i'm in saudi arabia at the moment..my girlfriend has to do a project in chemistry.
thats y i chose destructive distillation of wood.
I saw a video about it in one of your uploads and im sure that you have done it before.
If u dont mind me askin, I would like to ask you if you could tell me the materials needed for the project and a briefing about it?because i really have less time and I could not find much info. on the net.
