It got a little tense in the Mad Dog Radio studio as Reggie Jackson came face to face with renowned Yankee hater Chris Russo when Reggie and Bob Gibson visited to talk about their book, "Sixty Feet, Six Inches." So, after all these years I finally, finally here it explained by the man himself. I was a kid, and that was a night I will never forget. Hard to believe that was 34 years ago. Reggie had already hit the first two out, and I remember my dad saying "if he hits another one out, that place is going to go nuts". We all know what happened, and within moments an addition to baseball history was made. Wish someone would post footage of Reggie hitting the light tower in Detroit during an All-Star game.

I AM ON THE HOWARD STERN SHOW AS A VIRGIN

@broadjumper1 The thing about Reggie is that he has never been too open to talk about his charity work, his REAL charity work helping kids in poverty not only in the US but also in hispanoamerica. Reggie walks the walk and talks the talk, and he brags about lots of things, he tries to put on a show, that's his "persona", but behind courtains he is different.

I saw Reggie in Detroit on his 40th birthday. He was 2 for 2 with a dinger, (if my old memory serves me right). Too bad though, the game was rained out in the 4th inning. Homer didn't count.....: )
