Anyway, to my main point, there is very little funny about this scene, in real life at the time he might have been killed or seriously injured all because of the color of his skin. It's disgusting!

Borrow a copy of Steve Allen's "DUMBTH: The Lost Art of Thinking" from the Public Library. Read it, cover-to-cover (facing a full-length mirror, if you think it will help). Read "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" while you are there. Or can't Old Dogs be taught New Tricks?
