    I'm all for the good old days and the great TV shows from the 60s and 70s, but why pick on American Idol? AI is the number one hit machine on the planet. AI discovers and creates more super-stars than any other venue in the world. Some very very talented singers have come out of that show plus AI has had all kinds of super-star guest appearances. If it were not for AI Carrie Underwood might still be back on that farm.

    Why can't we have more music today that really tells a story, like this one? Not many songs today that have a real plot with descriptive lyrics...I miss the good music of yesterday.
