didnt grow up in this era but i love this time and music. wish things these days would slow down and simplify up a little more like they were in those days. Just seems like such a more relaxed and enjoyable time.

Great clip of two legends...I'm going to see Glen in mid Feb and hope I get a chance to tell him how much his music has meant to me.

@BonnieHC06 I appreciate what you are saying. I know life in the former Yugoslavia has been turned upside down in the last 20 years. The thing is, the chaos and uncertainty of today which makes you wish for the "good ol' days" in Yugoslavia were really present in the United States back in the 1960s. The images on TV back then of war, riots, and assassinations left me frightened as a child and even I think a bit cynical about life as an adult. Having said all that, the music was superb!

@raelraven2 I know.. you can't have one without the other. But I'm trying to say that I envy people back then. Especially on music. Even though there was so much sorrow.. but it wasn't ONLY sorrow. At least I think that way. I'm a Croat and I don't like the present very much. I wish I had lived in the ex Yugoslavia 'cause I believe that times were just better. Not in every way, but still better than today. Maybe I'm too young to talk like this, I'm only 17, but I feel that way.

@BonnieHC06 There was a lot to be happy about back then, including the music, which was absolutely fantastic. But the happy memories are at least partially overshadowed by the negative images. As much as I wish these types of happy images are all I remember from my childhood in the late 60s, I also remember soldiers dying in the fields of Vietnam, the cities burning, and RFK bleeding to death on the floor of the Ambassador Hotel. So much happiness, then so much sorrow.

@BonnieHC06 I was living then, and I know how lucky I am. I'm so sad that we're going to lose Glen soon. Tears in my eyes.

People in the video don't even know how happy they are/were, living in that time. I envy them..
This is a great video, great performance and great vocals. Love it :)

Ahh, the good old days. Before cable TV and when we had shows like Ed Sullivan, The Smothers Brothers, Sonny & Cher. Before we had moron shows like "American Idol".
