actually there probably isn't any brass...

the riff is simple, but all the harmony and texture going on beneath it is quite dense. that's why i thought (and still speculate) that it was a sample.

there was a video posted of this song done with an orchestra that shows an interpretation of the instrumentation (includes brass which i didn't initially hear).

i'm gonna guess that it was from a sample pack or some free-license thing.

Don´t think he samples that much. Propah ;). Really simple melody on the strings aswell. Only retards would need to steal that.
