@MikeyD9 Not really. Doesn't take a genius to see that God is a lie. Men cowered from the thunder, and they feared it because they had no means to comprehend it, hence the belief in Zeus. God exists as a concept because men fear death, a belief in an eternal soul is a means to cheat our own death.

@KleinUndBlau Some would debate that the existence of everything was caused by a deity, thus "proof". Though, I find that inconclusive, as you probably would, since that is an assumption rather than a sensual reality put into perspective.

As for humans being "weak", that is true that we're born weak, but we're very strong when you consider the fact that WE control our actions and thoughts, therefore, we can, over time, remove our weaknesses and turn them into strengths. At least, I think so.

I don't blame deities for bad issues, i blame the human weakness or greed, because in my opinion, deities don't exist.

But if there would be a proof that there are any gods, i would be the first one to blame them, because they've made us as week as we unfortunately are...

For it to have no reason, it would have no cause or effect, so Hawking is technically saying we dont really exist?

We know in science there is always a cause and effect, for everything, that is the foundation of science.
