Newt talks like he knows what he is talking about. But he doesn't. Like almost all politicians he is innumerate. The Global Warming Theory is based on measurements and models. The measurements have steadily gotten better over the last twenty years. It is indeed getting warmer (but probably not because of humans). The models however remain flawed. Newt has never made a math model of anything. It's like explaining color to the colorblind. He must rely on "experts".

"reduce carbon loading of the atmosphere" Newt says - the whole thing is junk science - the rise in CO2 follows the rise in temps, not the other way 'round. The deceipt of the warmists has been exposed over and over again. And we are too small to have an impact that affects it on a global scale - like George Carlin said - we are no more than fleas on the planet.
