In the uk we would file the lead by hand,then finnish with rubbing down block and sand paper,P80 first,all the way down to P180,then clean off with thinners,then primmer.The U.S and the Uk have different methods,Have been restoring classic cars for 27 years now,You always keep learning,Good work mate,

Nicely done. I'd use a body file to get the shape about right before getting out the air grinder, and I prefer an air supplied respirator, but that's just me.

Hi, guys. I visited you all a few years ago during the time I was restoring my '65 XKE and bought the 3 new harnesses from you. Don't remember any wild music when I was with you. LOL, too.
