A Greenpeace group in the Czech Republic has created a zone called Peaceland, where the U.S. radar base is planned. The activists say if America wants to use the land, they need to negotiate directly with them.

  • Youtube comments make me cringe, but this action makes my heart sing. Go peacelanders!!!

  • Where were these greenpeace dope smokers when Soviet Union deported 200 000 Baltic residents in to Siberia? We needed them back then. Where were these greenpeace jackasses when Russians killed 10 000 Chechens? Chechnya needed these people.

  • peaceland...oh how stupid episode of that...but OK, peaceland was "independent territory" and also like "independent territory" was occupied and re-joined to Czech republic by Czech Army. hurrah!

  • lmao its called a joke

  • wtf leave canada alone.

  • I'm Czech based for the past 14 years in Amsterdam.. I fully support this Greenpeace initiative!!! and just hope that my country (and Poland) will NOT be used for the US own agenda.. because that agenda makes Russians crazy & puts my country & Europe at serious risk, creating a new (cold war kinda) risky business, NB far from the US own territory.. NO WAY pls

  • I'll read it.

  • No you didn't. I am just saying I do not judge any of my ancestors. Many of my Indian ancestors died from diseases brought over from "The Old World." Others through violence. It saddens me to think of their suffering but I know they struggled to survive for the future. I also acknowledge that my "White" ancestors struggled. All people alive have stories of ancestors beating the odds in crisis situations. Including you, I bet. It's through their courage we live.

  • I don't think in terms of hating...sorry. I know about the genocide but I am not going to hate my ancestors. Are you familiar with Indian spirituality? Each tribe is different, of course. But there are common threads. They didn't worship their ancestors but they held them in high regard. The wisdom elders found through experience. To hate an ancestor would go against that wisdom and I, as their collective child, would have learned nothing.
