@JulietteDaria he fell in love with calypso, she gave hime the duty of ferrying souls to the other side with the promise of the one day every 10 years. when that day came she wasnt there, he was upset and told the bretheren court how to bind her to human forn, then he cut out his heart (not sure if he told them before or after cutting out his heart) after he forsook the duty and curse him his shit and his crew

I hated this scene because calypso basically ripped out davey jones' heart(not literally) and basically says that she's like that by nature so deal with it. If I were Jones I would've just snapped her neck there and then

I always laugh when he gets his claw stuck. It ruins my moment of love for this beautiful part but it worth it^_^ This is one of my faverite parts!
