Nature Praying Mantis cool!!

I was mowing when I came across this praying mantis. He jumped into my hand just like in the video and took a few laps around the yard with me and he was very reluctant to return to his perch on my old horse drawn plow turned mail box. I hope you enjoy!

They're pretty common here, but they blend in very well and are often overlooked as a branch, stick, leaf or twig. This little guy just didn't blend in with my plow..lol.

They're Nationally protected last I knew. That's an adolescent male.....I've had many on the property that were three times his size. Neat little insects! Thanks for the 5s Bill!!
