  • I'm so happy I started listening to hip-hop music. By listening to hip-hop, sampling caught my attention and now I just can't get enough of jazz music :)

  • @DajaWaja He's destroying "your" music by being introduced to it? You're the reason Jazz isn't popular music anymore. You're part of a community that's so insular and so condescending to other music fans that you turn people off of Jazz

  • @Perzon thats exactly what happend to me :) if it wasn't for hiphop, i would probably never have started listening to jazz and playing the upright. thank you hiphop ;)

  • @DjDj1995 ;) haha nah i feel kinda bad now.

    I was only kidding guys.

  • @Mrgibbsy72 haha you summed up the whole argument rather well

  • @DajaWaja How is hip-hop destroying "your" (you own it?) music? I love jazz and hip-hop, the latter gathers a lot of samples and excerpts from jazz because it sounds good and because they like what they hear, they just cut them or integrate these pieces into a new rhythm or beat, creating a whole new different song. That doesn't mean they destroy it, in fact they pay an hommage to Jazz by doing so! You should listen to Madlib, for instance, he has a lot of Blue Note crate-diggin albums, RESPECT

  • @liamjenright no you are the reason for people not listening to it no more because you have no brain whatsoever, go learn some music and then come back whining

  • @DajaWaja Music snobbery is not appreciated anywhere. All music is fine in its own right

  • @DajaWaja and just how am I destroying your beloved music?
