During fall months, coastal rivers in the Pacific Northwest are visited by five different pacific salmon species. One of the most abundant species is chum salmon, which offers an excellent fishery for entry-level flyfishermen.

This video takes a look at a couple of chum salmon that Shane managed to connect with in October 2006.

This is a shortened clip of our February video "Fall Salmon in Coastal Rivers". To view the full-length video, please visit http://www.fishingwithrod.com and subscribe at http://www.fishingwithrod.com/shop
