Origin vs. Steam

EA why u so silly?

This video is reflective of the state of my personal experience with the Origin client at the time of this video upload.

I am aware that not everybody has the same problems as I do with the Origin client. This is not a BF3 vs. MW3 video and it does not suggest that one game is better than the other.

Look at how irrelevant this is, comparing a fully developed software like Steam to a beta like Origin? Expect it to have bugs and such, because its a BETA. There was no point of this video because your not only siding with Steam, but your trying to make Origin look bad. THUMBS UP so people read this.

@Pr3dProductionsHD EA can't hide behind the Beta tag after forcing us to use it for a fully released games. If BF3 and other EA titles were available on PC through other means then there would be no point to this video. And there isn't so comparing it to Steam is not only fair, but it is necessary. Also, I didn't MAKE Origin look bad, it seems to have done that all on it's own.

@tehatemachine Precisely. It also scans your computer. The only reason I haven't uninstalled Origin is to get Mass Effect 3, which I would never give up.

@XenoAlbedo I originally just wanted BF3 then all this orgin shit popped up and i was like. WTF is this? Can't i just play the game? The installation was the most frustrating thing i have done. It downloads from the CD onto the software SLOW AS SHIT. Fuck EA. I'm done with them.

I really don't like Origin. But i do like to get my games digitally, for convenience. I don't need a physical copy of the game on a disk, so i'd rather get my games digitally. Steam has been really good with this, keeping all my games in a nice library. Then EA comes in and pulls their games off of steam so they could sell them exclusively in their own little system. So now i have to start up origin when i want to play one of these newer EA games. It's just stupid. EA, why do you do this?
