Most bands don't come close to sounding like they are on their albums when they play live. But not Solitude. Their albums are as real and heavy as their live performance. Nothing is glossed over, prettied-up with effects, no studio magic, just excellent musicians who know how to let their artistic visions speak through their instruments.

One of many great things is about this band is that...their live perfomances sound just like the albums. Rob's vocals are incredibly consistent and good. Alot of singers and bands do things to make themselves sound incredible but then sound like shit live. These guys sound great all the time to this day, to the poitn for me where when I hear this now, the nostalgia is very strong and enriched.

I am from Greece and I feel so grateful I participated in their tour in my country,as a member a support group.Every time I bring to my mind those moments I am so moved!Their music talks straight to my heart!They are amazing people,with humor,extremely kind and emotional!The best group of their kind,with a sound that is aggressive and fragile at the same time.

solitude aeternus is such a fucking awesome doom metal band!!! They deserve to become the most popular band inn that kind of music after candlemass...!!!
