like i describe in the video, its hard to find a solo seat cowl for the Honda RC51. once you do find one theres 20 other people bidding against you, the seat is used and maybe scratched, and the final price is near $200. this video shows you how to piece one together from your local honda dealer for anywhere between $100 (cheapest i saw for an online store) to $150 (what i paid for all "necessary" parts on mine).

hope this video helps you find a seat cowl for your bike for cheap!

  • OK, so I'm quite new in that game, I just got my first bike - a rc51 in august, and really seems from what I seen so far that rc51 parts are ridiculously expensive. Is it this so for most other bikes too?

  • @dnlxl depends on where you buy them from...OEM parts from a dealer will usually be expensive. look online at honda parts stores and youll usually find theyre a bit cheaper for OEM. I purchased a new LH side radiator from babbits online for about $400 whereas my local store wanted $600 or so. in general, high performance machines are not cheap to repair. my RC is my 3 bike ive owned and all my bikes have always required maintenance here and there...you learn a lot from it though.

  • Thanks, Mrcycles.com $110 shipped

  • @sevink3 cool, glad it worked out for you. sure beats paying/fighting for a $300 used one on ebay right?
