Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Acts 16:30

Men and brethren, what shall we do? Acts 2:27

Its a very important question! Because it concerns our soul and our eternity! Through centuries people asked this question as they seek to assure their hearts of their spiritual condition. I join you in the quest for salvation, I too want to be saved from sin, But the question remains: What must I do to be saved?

We know that Jesus Christ provided a way for us to be saved from sin and everlasting punishment. But what must I do to receive the wonderful gift of salvation Jesus Christ is offering to me?

  • @msfaithful123 continue to make God use you. I love how you break it down.

  • AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ... (which is the Son of God the Father). However, that is the Spiritual Baptism which happens when the person calls upon the name of Jesus (the Son) who is the only way to the Father (God).

  • Have I also not baptized them in the name of Jesus (the Son) & the Spirit that which dwells with us today (The Holy Ghost)? The trinity is one in all ... not singular. If you do something in the name of one, you do something in the name of all, right? To claim the power of Jesus is also claiming the power of God the Father because Jesus & the Father "are one", correct? So where's the discrepancy? Why bring it up? Baptism should be in the name of Jesus...

  • This whole video is an argument of semantics... Yes, baptism is necessary, but not the physical baptism that we SEE, but the spiritual baptism of which the water baptism represents. Each time baptism in the name of Jesus was done (which you already described IS the name of the Son), it was not done as a way of giving a formula to conduct a water baptism. If I as a preacher baptize someone in the name of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, have I not baptized that person in the name of God?

  • Amen
